You handle acrylic with bare fingers. Isnt it harmful for health?

David...is the binder used in acrylic paint toxic or carcinogenic? I read recently that the binders are harmful releasing fumes also. Please comment. Im at the verge of leaving acrylics because of this reason. Please help

Nice video - again. Pocket screws are very fast and strong... Many wood joints would technically be stronger but would take unreasonable amount of time for a picture frame. Using pocket screws is much higher quality than I have seen in many frames that are sold. Again - thank you for the video.

Hi again, David -- (Now 7 minutes in. Hahahaha) You're talking about the importance of using a lot of paint and pointing out how the rocks on the left, the guy, and the horse are coming forward because there is more paint on them. And so ------- What just popped into my head was that I'd love you to show us how we might use that new Derivan Acrylic Thickener. Yesterday, I visited the Jansen Art Store to get ready to take advantage of the 25% off Summer Stock Up sale -- and I saw the thickener. Then I found the video where you show how the thickener works with both extender and paint. (I'm retired with a fixed income, so the sale is super for for me!) JV

Hi David! I'm about 2 minutes into watching this. I'm dashing this off so I don't forget to say how much I appreciate it when you are talking us through your artist's thinking process. I was kind of talking right along with you as you were saying "yeah" and "straight line." I was thinking, "Yeah, yeah -- I get it!" That extra rock in the water breaks up that line and gives the lower left an attractive triangular shape. Very cool. Okay -- I'm going to go and watch the rest now. (I'm so impulsive. Sorry.) When I study the shadows of each of those areas where the light strikes the surfaces of mountains and clouds, it appears to me the sun is a bit further to the right and up a little higher and more distant, but behind the mountain at right front. When I draw imaginary lines from each location the light hits, it seems to fit. What do you think? Perhaps I've missed something? There's a lot of reflective light in there. No wonder he painted this one! Lots of interest and lots to ponder! I'll probably watch this video many times over. So much here. Thanks so much for your insights and your wonderful ability to give instruction. You're the best!! 🎨🖌🙏🏻God Bless! P.S. I forgot about the light hitting the clouds in front center and left center. It looks like reflective light from the strength of light hitting that mountain peak way in back.
